"Making Connections in a Virtual World"
Blogs, podcasts, viral video, Twitter, Facebook, SMS -- There are so many new tools out there to tell your organization's story. It's a rapidly changing world and savvy fundraisers need to learn a whole new vocabulary. Learn about these new tools, why it is important for fundraisers to pay attention to them, and how they can be used in conjunction with your old tools for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. We'll give you a brief overview of what's out there, share examples from initiatives that worked (or didn't work) and have a lively discussion about the increasing role that these tools will play in your fundraising efforts in the future.
