Capital campaigns have a beginning and an end, but usually go on for several years. Capital campaigns are a great way to get your donors, friends and volunteers excited about fundraising for a new project for your organization. With the excitement of a new project, there is frustration as well. On the Move Again: Migrating from Events to Annual & Major Gifts
The ‘buzz’ centers on how development staff tend to move from one gala to the next, from one golf outing to the next, from one special event to the next special event. This interactive learning lab will allow conference participants to reflect on ways to become less dependent on events while learning to leverage these events into increasing annual fund and major gifts. Mike Bruni, Partner at Laurus Strategies in Chicago, will share the hottest direct response fundraising tips and innovation ideas to bump up fund results, including specific ways to start and build an endowment as well as creative approaches for both donor acquisition and renewal programs.
