The Peer Mentoring Program supports: 
professional development of those new to the field, while enhancing the professional abilities of participating mentors

John Huebler, CFRE is AFP Chicago's 2017 Chapter President and Senior Major Gift Officer, Institutional Advancement at the Illinois Institute of Technology. 

 

We invited John to share his insights with us, includng how he entered the development profession, turning points in his career, and why he is looking forward to the year ahead for AFP Chicago.

Congratulations Ashli Owens!

 

Ashli Owens, Development Coordinator, Spark Program has been named AFP Chicago's 2017 Chamberlain Scholar. Each year AFP Chapters across the country select one individual to receive a complimentary registration and travel stipend to the AFP International Conference to help further develop their knowledge and skills in fundraising. Ashli is a member of the 2016 class of AFP Chicago Fellows. Look for a report on her experience attending the March 2017 International Conference in a future issue of eDevelopments!
