SUPPORT AFP CHICAGO

Philanthropic Rationale

Like the organizations we serve, AFP Chicago is a non-profit institution, with a mission that goes far beyond serving the professional development needs of its members. AFP advances the awareness and practice of philanthropy as a force for community – an objective that is, in itself, worthy of generous financial and volunteer support from both AFP members and interested community members.

AFP’s Case Statement conveys the rationale, need and urgency of the chapter’s need for philanthropy. Click here to examine the statement.

Become an AFP Chicago Partner

AFP Chicago is honored to have a number of loyal sponsors willing to make an upfront annual financial pledge to support valuable chapter programming. Doing so provides them the opportunity to continue to allocate the dollar value of their sponsorship to our individual events, and receive special recognition throughout the entire year that will be separate from individual event sponsorships. Examples of this enhanced recognition include special recognition at all AFP events, corporate profiles on our website and in our eDevelopments newsletter, and special signage. Corporate profiles for several of our Partners are available by clicking on the special links below.

Every Member Campaign

Many chapter members choose to support AFP Chicago through the Every Member Campaign, a program of the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy’s Annual Fund. As the name suggests the Every Member Campaign is part of the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy's Annual Fund. We hope "every member" will make a gift to support the Association’s—our—important work: scholarships, the Resource Center, outreach and diversity programs, and public awareness campaigns. In addition, 25% of your gift is returned to the Chicago Chapter, further enhancing our own work, scholarships, and outreach. Ultimately, your partnership benefits you and your peers in our important field. Check out www.afpnet.org/afp_foundation_for_philanthropy to learn more about the national campaign.

You can make a gift to the EMC at the national website, www.afpnet.org.
