AFP Chicago Showcase: Persuasion & Influence
Thursday, March 05, 2026, 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM CDT
Category: Event

In challenging times, people don't rally around organizations—they rally around stories.

Join AFP Chicago for an engaging and practical session with Kristian Alomá, PhD, where you'll learn how nonprofit leaders can build powerful, human-centered brand stories that deepen donor relationships, inspire action, and create lasting impact.

Drawing from narrative psychology and more than two decades of experience working with nonprofits, Kristian will share a clear framework to help your organization move beyond messaging and create a brand that is lived - not just told

You'll walk away with:

  • A practical storytelling framework to make your organization's story resonate
  • Strategies to strengthen donor connections and inspire engagement
  • Tools to communicate with clarity and confidence, even when the world feels uncertain
  • This session is eligible for 1.5 CFRE continuing education credits

Online registration for this event is now closed, but you can register on site starting at 8:30 am on Thursday, March 5, 2026. If you have any questions, please email us at [email protected]
