February 13 - Breakfast with Lt. Governor Sheila Simon – Education Reform in Illinois

Illinois Lt. Governor Sheila Simon will address the Association of Fundraising Professionals Chicago on Education Reform in Illinois – New Directions for State-Nonprofit Partnerships Wednesday, February 13 – just weeks before the state’s budgeting season kicks into high gear.

Lt. Governor Simon,
a passionate education advocate, has visited each of the state’s 48 community colleges and 12 public universities. Over several months visiting each corner of Illinois, Simon gathered students, educators and the best educational minds in Illinois to discuss revamping higher education in our state. She will share the innovative ideas that she has compiled, and how the state must work with the private and nonprofit sectors to improve and reform higher education – especially at a time when we are all doing more with less. Click here to register for this program
