Member News

In May, AFP Chicago member, Saint Xavier University & Indiana University’s Ruth Hansen, M.J., CFRE, taught a distance learning class called “Fundraising in the United States” to 40 undergraduate students at the Soong Ling Ching Center on Philanthropy at Beijing Normal University-Zhuhai.

Ruth noted that the students were especially keen on issues of trustworthiness and transparency, and they loved hearing guest presenters, AFP Chicago members, Kristienne Hanna and Michelle Sherbun.
