Chicago Community COVID-19 Resources

On behalf of the AFP Chicago Board of Directors and Staff, we would like to extend our deepest concern and support for our members, friends, colleagues, and customers impacted by the current 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) health emergency.

We understand concerns about COVID-19 are top of mind for our members and the fundraising community. The State of Illinois Corona Virus Response reminds all of us that vaccines are effective tools to protect each one of us from the virus, help safely return to pre-COVID routines and end this pandemic.  After months of ensuring those at greater risk are protected, all residents age 16 and up are eligible to receive vaccination (from https://coronavirus.illinois.gov/s/ ). There are more than 900 vaccination locations throughout the state of Illinois.  You can find them here. While we face these many unforeseen challenges, it is important that we move forward by working together, formulating plans, and learning from each other’s successes (from https://www.afponline.org/covid19 ).  Below is an evolving collection of resources to consider related to local information to help our members and visitors weather the pandemic.
